Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Penyanyi R&B asal Amerika Srikat, Beyonce Giselle Knowles (26), menyajikan aksi spektakuler untuk memuaskan penggemarnya dalam konser bertajuk “The Beyonce Experience” di JITEC, Mangga Dua Square, Jakarta, 1 November.
“Penikmat musik di Indonesia disuguhi sebuah pertunjukan spektakuler dari salah seorang diva dunia dalam konsernya 1 November mendatang. Itu janjinya dan mudah-mudahan penonton akan terhibur,” ungkap promotor konser dari Nepathya, Rinni Noor, dalam konferensi pers di Jakarta, Selasa.

Rinni mengungkapkan untuk memuaskan penggemarnya di Jakarta, Beyonce memboyong peralatan musik berikut perlengkapan tata cahaya sendiri secara khusus yang beratnya mencapai 60 ton, juga para penari dan rombongan sebanyak 75 orang.
“Konsernya berlangsung sekitar 90 menit, dia membawakan lagu-lagu dari dua albumnya, yakni `Dangerously In Love` dan `B`day`,” katanya.
Konser penyanyi peraih lima Penghargaan Grammy (Grammy Award) di Jakarta itu merupakan bagian dari tur keliling dunianya bertajuk “The Beyonce Experience”.
Penyelenggara konser, Electronic City Entertainment dan Nepathya, menyiapkan JITEC (Jakarta International Event and Convention Center) Mangga Dua Square Jakarta yang berkapasitas 5.000 penonton.

Sementara itu, Humas promotor dari Electronic City, Nia Zulkarnaen mengatakan Beyonce akan tampil dengan busana yang menyesuaikan dengan kultur di Indonesia, namun ia mengaku tentang busana pihak promotor tidak memberi arahan atau patokan tertentu.
“Beyonce adalah seorang diva dunia, sebagai entertainer tentu dia paham dimana dia tampil dan bagaimana seharusnya berbusana. Kami tidak mendikte, tentu dia sudah tahu bagaimana budaya Timur di Indonesia,” katanya.
Istri dari aktor Ari Sihasale ini mengungkapkan Beyonce tiba di Jakarta 31 Oktober bersama rombongan usai konsernya di Bangkok.
Konser digelar Kamis malam (1/11) dan penonton dapat membeli tiket dengan berbagai variasi harga, yakni kelas Diamond sebesar Rp3 juta, kelas Platinum Rp2,5 juta, kelas Gold Rp2 juta, dan kelas Festival Rp750 ribu.

“Untuk seorang diva dunia saya rasa harga itu cukup pantas, apalagi Beyonce telah berjanji menghadirkan konser spektakuler di Jakarta,” katanya.
Beyonce sukses menjual sekitar 100 ribu keping albumnya di Indonesia dan kurang lebih 11 juta keping di seluruh dunia dari album perdananya bertajuk “Dangerously in Love” (2003).
Sedangkan album keduanya “B`Day” (September 2007) terjual hingga meraih platinum di Indonesia dan menembus angka enam juta keping di dunia. Sejumlah lagu terkenal dari Beyonce antara lain “Crazy in Love”, “Baby Boy”, “Deja Vu”, dan “Irreplaceable”.
Beyonce yang lahir di Houston, Texas, AS, pada 4 September 1981 sebelumnya dikenal sebagai anggota kelompok penyanyi “Destiny`s Child” yang dibentuk tahun 1998 besama LaTavia Roberson, Kelly Rowland, dan LeToya Luckett. (*)

The Beyoncé Experience is the second concert tour by American singer-songwriter Beyoncé Knowles in support to her second solo album B’Day.

Early before the album was released, Beyoncé held a nationwide audition for female musicians which finally ended in Sony Music Studios.[1] Rehearsals for the tour began in March 2007. The shows include songs from both Knowles’ B’Day/B’Day Deluxe Edition albums and Dangerously in Love album and at some shows she included songs from her Irremplazable EP. The conception and staging for the concert was done by Beyoncé Knowles, Kim Burse and Frank Gatson Jr. Gatson. Jovon Pavielle and Danielle Polanco choreographed the dance routines. Tina Knowles, House of Deréon, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Elie Saab, Herve Leger shouldered the tour’s wardrobe. The tour was managed by Alan Floyd.
The tour kicked off on April 10 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan with the first leg ending in Nagoya. The second leg was in Australia before moving on to the third leg in Europe, beginning in Frankfurt, Germany before going through countries such as Spain, Sweden and Portugal ending the leg with several shows in the UK in cities such as London, Cardiff and Manchester where she performed to her biggest crowd in Europe to 21,000 at the sold out MEN Arena. The third leg ended with two dates at The Point in Dublin.
The US leg of the tour began in July 6 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, as part of the 2007 New Orleans Essence Music Festival, where Beyoncé headlined. The tour also stops in Mexico (Monterrey City). She then embarkeded on a final leg of the tour in East Asia/Korea. The final concert of the tour took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Centre in Las Vegas on December 31, 2007. The tour, whose sponsors were Samsung and L’Oréal Paris. Beyonce also did a free concert in Toronto on Sept. 15th 2006.

A show in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was canceled due to conflict in dress coding of the country. However, a concert in Jakarta, Indonesia replaced it. The show on October 24 in Istanbul, Turkey was cancelled by the organizer, the sports club Fenerbahçe, due to the terrorist attacks of PKK in Hakkari on September 21, 2007.
The September 2 stop on the tour in Los Angeles, California was recorded for the The Beyoncé Experience Live! DVD. For this show, Beyoncé introduced special guest Jay-Z, who performed with her on the song “Upgrade U”. Additionally, during the Destiny’s Child medley segment, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Beyoncé on stage, briefly reuniting as a group to perform “Survivor”.

* In Japan, “Flaws and All” was not performed. “Get Me Bodied” was performed after “Check On It.”
* “Speechless” was added to the setlist during the April 21st performance at the Acer Arena
* In the first week of shows in the United States, and all shows prior to, “Get Me Bodied” was performed immediately after “Check On It.” Beginning with her Houston show, Beyoncé performed a “bumble-bee” version of “Get Me Bodied.”
* The setlist changed at the show in San Antonio , Texas
* In Australia and Europe and the first week of shows in the United States, “Deja Vu” was the last song performed.
* During the Europe (except Germany and the UK) and Middle East leg of the tour, “Speechless” was not performed.
* During her performance in Orlando July 24, while walking down the stairs performing “Ring the Alarm”, Knowles’ heel got caught in her jacket and she tripped down a flight of stairs. The incident became a hit on YouTube, and appeared on CNN. [2]
* During most concerts of the Africa/Europe/Asia leg of the tour, there was no break between “Green Light” and “Baby Boy.” There was no costume change until before “Dangerously in Love.”
* In the Asia leg of the tour, “Flaws and All,” “Speechless,” “Suga Mama,” “‘03 Bonnie & Clyde,” and “Get Me Bodied” were not performed.
* In India, Beyoncé performed “Dangerously In Love” in a sari, a traditional dress for Indian women.
* In her concerts in Spain–Madrid and Barcelona–Beyonce sing the Spanish version of “Irreplaceable,” aka “Irreemplazable.”
* On the album version of “Suga Mama,” Beyoncé begins the song by saying, “Damn that was so good, I wanna buy him a short set.” However, Beyoncé changed that line several times during her tour. Most often, it was changed to “Damn that was so good, I wanna make him some Hamburger Helper.”

A DVD of The Beyoncé Experience Tour, starting from April 10 2007 and ending in November 12 2007 was shot. It included the September 2 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California show because it was two days before Beyoncé’s 26th birthday. It was released on November 20, 2007. The DVD was released in Spain on November 27, 2007.[5] It was released under the title The Beyoncé Experience Live!.
The show in Milan, Italy was also recorded for promotional and archival use only.
